About The Author

Cameron Quinn is a lifelong student of Kyokushin Karate. He traveled to Japan at 17 to train with Sosai Mas Oyama and, beginning with the Eighth All Japan Championships in 1976, served as the Master’s interpreter when required until the Master’s death in 1994. Quinn has run Kyokushin dojos since the 1978 and has trained many successful world-class tournament champions and instructors. He continues to teach to this day and is in high demand worldwide for his insightful, enjoyable and highly educational seminars. He speaks and writes Japanese fluently.
